Green Mountain Council is selling 20 ALPS Mountaineering Prospector Outfitter tents as Jamboree surplus. These tents were used at the 2026 National Scout Jamboree and have been cleaned and dried. Sold as-is for $50 each — a fraction of the $399.99 retail price. The Prospector Outfitter is a spacious, free-standing tent with an 8' × 10' footprint (80 sq ft) and a 6'4" center height — tall enough to stand in comfortably. Straight sidewalls maximize usable floor space, with room for two cots plus gear. The full-coverage 75D polyester fly includes a 2-foot vestibule for extra sheltered storage, and the heavy-duty 150D poly Oxford floor handles rough terrain. Features include fiberglass roof poles with steel uprights, panoramic mesh sidewalls for ventilation, a large dual-zipper door with mesh window, and extra-large zippers throughout. Each tent comes with a zippered carry bag, heavy-duty 8" steel stakes, and guy ropes. Packed size is 2'1" × 8" × 8"; total weight is 20 lbs. All sales final. Sold as-is with no warranty. Footprint not included.
