Cub Scouts Love the Outdoors Challenge Four seasons. A full year of adventure!

Join Pacific Harbors Council for a self-guided, yearlong adventure beginning October 1, 2026, and continuing through September 30, 2027! The Cub Scouts Love the Outdoors Challenge invites youth and their families, dens, and packs to explore, learn new skills, and make memories together at their own pace.

Each season offers 50 activities to choose from. Complete at least 25 activities each season to earn that season’s patch!

Fall: October–December Winter: January–March Spring: April–June Summer: July–September

How it works: Once your packet arrives, the participating adult or unit leader is responsible for giving the youth the center patch first to begin their adventure, tracking the activities completed, and awarding each seasonal patch once the youth completes that season’s challenge.

There’s no need to submit activity logs or completion information to the council. This adventure is guided and celebrated by your family or unit—but we’d love to see your photos and videos along the way!
